I have noticed this too. Unfortunately, reducing the weight of goods has not assisted me in any way shape or form to lose any weight myself:eek:

To be honest, I find that fresh fruit and veg are cheaper on the market (and much better quality). Fresh fish is better off the market and tastes nicer. Toiletries and cleaning stuff are cheaper in Home and Bargain or shops of that ilk. Sadly, for most of us, we don't have time to traipse all over town to do the shopping so we will continue to be robbed blind by the supermarkets:rolleyes:

Also Lettie the supermarkets send vouchers in the post for you to get money off. I have recieved Tesco ones spend £30 get a tenner off and yesterday I recieved Morrisons ones spend £20 and get a fiver off.
So this alone gets people in the supermarket as most cant turn their nose up at "free" shopping.
I have started getting own brands and they seem just as good as named brands and they have more in the packet.
