I had a tassel-sticking, glitter-shaking 6 weeks there as a student back in the summer of1983 - it was still Joseph Arnold's then.
I remember it being OK, except when on the packing machines (BORING) -some great people worked there -had quite few laughs though you weren't really supposed to talk a lot and could only go to the loo for so many minutes and when it was your turn.... worse than being at school.:rolleyes: They had a great canteen too. |

my friend works in the billing processing section and apparently this xmas has been their busiest since '97. i'm glad they're doing well. not many places are.

I dont think a lot would stay if it was possible to go from one job to another, but as the stampede to work at tesco proves there are a lot out of work and no jobs for them to do. Hence the reason people stay in jobs that they hate rather than sign on.
