Got to the 3rd paragraph before I realised they were the same as the others

Quote:

The UPP is a party that promotes common sense politics

Politics and common sense never marry

Just wondering if you have an opinion that would make it compelling enough for me to click on a link marked Home?

You want everyones opinion? Then why not start the thread by giving your own opinion?

It must be great, creating a fringe party that will never have a chance of being elected in to power. You can say anything and promise everything.
I feel all warm and fuzzy now!!!

If that's what you call an opinion, I will remain ignorant of the link possibly because I can't tell if you voted labour and would again vote labour, except that labour won't be having a candidate in your area,

OR

that you voted labour but would now vote for the Home party if they were to throw a candidate your way.

Could you also let me know about the above link?
Is that the same as the original link or is this yet another link with which you wish to treat the unwary to a trojan or two?

I wouldn't be all that quick to knock fringe parties. They can gain power, and if they don't, they could influence the politics of existing parties. The Tea Party is a good example. The Canadian Conservatives, even better. They started as a Western populist party, the "Reform Party", and went on to form a new natioanal Conservative Party to replace the one that Canadian voters trashed back in the 90s. If folks get peed enough at the mainstream parties, the new kids on the block will gain support; and then the old parties will have to take notice of them. I still regret not seeing the "Let's Have a Party, Party" have more support.:D

Rhinoceros Party - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ... This is one of my favorites. Actually voted for them in Saskatoon. The candidate was a black lab called "Boh" .... short form of "Bohemian", a popular stubble jumper beer. He came in third, behind the NDP and the Conservatives, but ahead of the Liberals.:dancedog:

Thing is though i think yer missing the point a bit B.G. whilst most em will never attain power, if they get enough "Positive" publicity n do catch on a bit, those that are in power may have to consider reigning in. imho.
