It's simple, there are a lot of things in everyday use that have links to Hitler.

Regardless of Hitler's intentions the science behind the V rockets was put to the betterment of man and the elporation of Space. Of course it also was used to help ICBM's, but so was Guidance Systems and the DOD's Navstar GPS, which a tom tom uses.

And don't forget Psychology! The Germans stared that as well and Hamburgers. ;)

The issue is that Werner von Braun developed the V2 rocket which bombed London and also used Jewish slave labour many of which were shot dead - yet he was not charged or held for war crimes but instead lived a life of luxury in the USA! Showing that USA and also Brits have double standards and let certain people off for crimes if it suits them!

I have listen to an interview he gave detailing why he believes this.
His argument has some validity - but with all the smoke, mirrors and spin that has been put out about Roswell it is hard to decide who to believe (if anybody:rolleyes:)

It seems to me the same could be said of many, Ferdinand Porsche for example, creator of the Volkswagen (Beetle) or even Oskar Schindler, after all he profited from his slave labour.
Have you ever taken pills made by IG Farben or Beyer? Used traffic lights manufactured by Siemens? all of those had some part to play in the camps.

Von Braun is on record saying how he tried to help people where he could, but like most of the German people, who were aware of what was happening, he feared that he could do nothing and to make a statement against it would be to give yourself a life sentence.
Whether or not that is true is now hearsay, after all he is dead.

Being aware that people are being exterminated en mass is one thing, being involved directly is another. I am glad however that you are not using the internet to say the holocaust never happened.

My Grandfather, on my mums side, was one of the first Allied officers into Belsen, he would never talk about it.
That said he had a lot of time for the Germans, not the French though.

Every government will change the rules to suit them, what profit are you going to gain by making such audacious claims about the space race, something that was won over 40 years ago and thanks to the current occupier of the White house is well and truly over.

Just like this thread was, for several months, until you resurected it again..........
