The way Cameron should work it is in the best interests of this country, pure and simple. He's got quite a strong hand to play, as, whether the public agreed or not, Britain took a prominent role in supporting and recognising the rebels. Libya has huge oil and gas reserves and Cameron should look to gain maximum advantage in terms of commercial opportunities for British companies. Libya under Sharia Law? So what - China's a communist dictatorship and it doesn't stop us from looking for trade opportunities. As for the religious aspect, well, the USA might be under control of some glassy-eyed creationist nutter after the next election and we'll just have to live with it. That's life!

Cameron like any other lilly livered leader of the past 20 years will let the USA walk in and take all the spoils.

supporting the USA in Iraq hasnt exactly done us any favors regarding oil has it

Had to laugh this morning, listening to the Libyan propaganda bloke, saying they were still in charge and would destroy the invaders, reminded me of Comical Ali in the Iraq war, when he said the Saddam was still in charge of Baghdad, when the American tanks were trundling down the main street

The big question is when are oil prices going to drop back down.Cameron blamed the unrest there for the hike in oil prices so now its over we should see a drop in prices at the pumps and household bills like gas and electricity shouldn't we ?
