I don't see why the Human Rights Act is all of a sudden being used by the tories a some sort of reason for the looting and riots.. if anyone is found guilty of rioting or looting then the law of this land takes preference over any European law when it comes to sentencing and such...the only law that can be questioned is deportation for convicts to be sent back to thier homeland and even that is down to the Judge when sentencing... everything else is already in normal UK law.

Its not!

It's the media saying that the HRA is to blame..it isn't..it's the way the judiciary are interpreting it thats at fault.

Just like the headmaster banning conkers without safety glasses and blaming health and safety laws...

Idiots who can't sort fact from fiction, truth from lies and good from evil

Not sure what you mean.. I said the law regarding sentencing is carried out by UK Judges and the Human Rights Act has no juristiction over UK law.. but there is the question about deportation of those convicted of crimes in this country who.. under the European law have a right to appeal.. but saying that the European law on deportation came about in 1971.

Proffesinal (SP?) Politicians and Lawyers won't do "doodah "all pigs at the same trough , how about all the "new" clean MPs elected to the latest Parliament doing something about cleaning the stables .........Graham Jones ... what do you think , you're not part of the Eton/Cambridge/Oxford educated elite ... how many of the other newcomers think the way most voters do about the HRA ?
