Middle Age...

Was disconcerted to hear recently that Britain's middle-aged population is the most unhealthy in the world ...not such a surprise you may think. It was to me -not for the fact in itself but because i discovered that I've been "middle-aged" for nearly 3 years and didn't know it!
Apparently from 45 to 54 one is officially middle-aged, presumably this means that old age starts at 55?!!
So no more worrying for me about the looming big Five Oh -i'm already middle-aged anyway...:(
I will update my wardrobe with a few crimplene dresses, A-line skirt/cardi. combos, blouses with pie-crust collars and, of course, some sensible shoes:D
Any comments?

48? You're in the bloom of youth, at your best! You've got the experience you didn't have when you were young and the energy to get more!
Ignore them, eat, drink and be merry.
For tomorrow we--- forget that bit.

Whatever you want Jen. Whatever you want.

Age is just a number......getting older is obligatory, growing up is optional....ask Cashy. He knows what I mean.

Another 45 years?

Seriously, you're young enough to see a cure for your health problem, hopefully sooner rather than later.
(Hope you don't mind me mentioning it, saw your post on the Equality thread).

The world will change a lot in the next 30/40 years, look foreward to it!

What's wrong with that? If he could still measure them he hasn't had too many.
