Re: Party Conference Season

We are fortunate ... we don't have these annual conference things ... the only time that the parties get together with delegates from the membership is when they elect a new leader. There is one coming up for the NDP, to choose someone to replace the late Jack Layton. However, we are stuck with another general election, the second one this year:( ... this one to choose the next government of Ontario, which for Ontarians is much more important than the federal election.

I put in the link for those who are not bored enough with coverage of your party conferences ... and those who can't sleep 'cause the Yorkshiremen have scared all the sheep away.;)

Pardon?

Sorry I'd stopped listening'

Have you ever considered starting your own party?

I could vote for your general ideas, I just don't fancy the way you put them forward.

Start my own party not on your Nelly Less, after being involved in politics since I was sixteen, it doesn't have the same magnetism now as it did, young Andrew reminds me of what I was like at his age, the only difference is I think Andrew has the oomph to make a successful career out of politics, where I only ever had it as a side line, my first love was my chosen career, until my health put the mockers on it:(

The Conservative Party | People | Members of Parliament | Rt Hon Patrick McLoughlin MP

If he's nimble footed, in those Westminster corridors, he might never get it.
