does anyone here visit a preston version of accyweb?

I have been looking for a community forum like accyweb but for preston.I found PrestonLancs.com but the members list seems very small for such a large place so i was wondering if anyone knew of any others.

I know its not really a gen discussion question but my 7 year old was viciously attacked yesterday afternoon by a nigerian in his late 20's and i want to appeal for witnesses and also thank the two spineless men who sat by and did nothing while a 7 year old was punched in his face knocking him off his pushbike as he rode past.Luckily a woman with a lot more bottle than these two cowards intervened before this man could do even more dammage and took my son to his mothers 1 street away from the attack and has made a statement but the police have not yet caught this nigerian man.

This wasnt simply a tap across the head this man for no reason at all landed a full bodied punch to my sons face/ mouth for no reason at all.He didnt even run off he walked away as though his actions were perfectly acceptable

I cant see anymore.

Hope your 7year old is ok.
What goes through these peoples heads to think its acceptable to do that sort of thing? :( Scum.

hopefully he will be caught before he assaults another child or worse.

This was a totally out of the blue unprovoked attack.

Police said the man may have mental health issues or be a drug user but regardless of the reasons this scumbag needs to be taken off the streets before he escalates and either seriously hurts a child or kills one

See if there's a Preston section on Facebook.

Our moderator, Mick, is likely to know the answer to the thread question, as he is a Prestoner. I think the answer is that there isn't one. The sites relating to Preston do seem to be inactive.

Good God how terrible! I hope he's Ok and not too badly injured -you don't mention any consequences....Unfortunately the world is full of agressive nut-cases, hope you can get the info you need and it leads to a speedy arrest............

police revisited the area where the attack happened and waited around for 1 hour but he didnt show so it may not be his regular route

also having spoken to the actual officer who took the womans statement the woman shouted up to the two men at the bus stop for help shouting to stop the nigerian bloke because he had just assaulted a small child and they just looked away from her then got on the bus.

cowards is too kind a word for those two men

its looking like the scumbag has got away with it this time i just hope someone elses child isnt hurt or worse by this man because two cowards stood by and let him go

mind you it says it all about community spirit when its so damn hard to find a forum for the area especially one thats active

thanx for all the well wishes my son is coping pretty well and although extra cautious he has been very brave and played out again :)
