2 Attachment(s)
Look what they went and did yesterday! Stuck a huge telegraph pole right by the entrance to the church, and its in a conservation area too! Why did they stick it there I wonder?
Oh, I was hoping you would have been able to read the notice, it basically says if you object, write off and complain, but ... its already up, so cant really see they will move it, eh? |

My wife and son saw you taking the pictures this morning on the way to nursery, you can't do anything these days there's always someone watching.

Hi Atarah Because there is a Health & Safety directive that states the height & span of telephone wires above the road way. A telephone engineer was killed whilst working on a pole & a wagon caught the wire, dragged the engineer of the pole & killed him. If you remember the wire used to come from the end of Timber St back, across the square to Jerry's house. They stuck one of there poles against our back wall, right on top of an old drain, their inspector examined it, said it would have to be removed. ITS still there excuse they might cause more damage by trying to move it than leaving it where it is. B.T. are answerable to no one. Walter. |
