There are still good people out there - proof
 

Today my 13 year old daughter lost her purse. The last place she remembered having it was on the bus on her way home from her birthday shopping trip, £70 in cash and her newly aquired bank card therein. To say she was upset would be the understatement of the year.

Armed with the bus number (the 536) and a description of the driver Mrs MTB and I jumped in the car in the forlorn hope of 1, finding the bus, 2 finding the purse and 3, finding any of the contents still in there.

Well, we managed all three. Caught the bus up 3 miles away in Bolton and a passenger had handed it to the driver who kindly looked after it and gave it back to us. We now have a happy birthday girl and my faith in human nature is restored. I know its not an Accy tale but thought I would share it anyway

Thanks Margaret, it was quite an episode! She's learned a valuable lesson today too and won't put all her eggs on one basket again.

I gives us hope that there are still random acts of kindness, goodness knows we see far to many of the other type. Glad for the happy outcome

I wouldn't class this as a random act of kindness. I would class it as one person who believed that honesty is its own reward.
I'm not being picky, but that is just how I see it.

it is a random act, it may be the same person who acts in this way all the time, but to the recipient it is random, unless they lose their purse when this person is around on a regular basis.

its not about point scoring, its aboutdoing random acts of kindness, when I am out, I wear my underpants on the outside and fasten my duffle coat by the top toggle
