I read in this mornings paper that white pupils are a minority in many schools.

I remember a song quite a few years ago. coffee coloured people by the score

say no more is this post racial---- or am I just stating facts

Actually it does. Why are you reluctant to link the paper you are quoting from? Is it maybe a homophobic publication? or is it one of Dirty Des's rags or the Drama out of a Crisis, house prices are falling Mail?

To be fair I have found the report and read its findings already, great product Google.

Theres one at the bottom of our road n am amazed the L.E.T. has started a competition- "Spot The White Child":D

Thete are two questions this piece of none news raise for me and they are:-

At what size is an ethnic population no longer classed as 'minority'?

Why couldn't my ex-wife born in Southern Ireland get any of the assistance offered to other ethnic minorities?

I attended a school which practised an openly discriminatory policy regarding pupil intake, so as to socially engineer the school's makeup.

There were no girls.

Same here -though no boys in mine.

I also chose to attend a college which had only just opened to females back in '85 as a graduate - 7 men to every woman but it was nice to be a minority in that case -we ladies were all very popular!;):D

After an all girls school I spent 4 years at college as the only female in a class of about a dozen males. It was great - I've always got on better with men than women.
