It's A Good Job Everybody Stays In The House On Sundays

Otherwise the county council would have had to make some effort to clear the roads

I take it you mean yes. Lovely cold bright day here but no sign of any white stuff. We don't get much snow in Morecambe but when we do they put it to good use...

I don't think you came close to being political, somehow I get the feeling all these stupid posts must be grooves swan song, I suspect he's been given several warnings and had plenty of posts removed, knows that this time it will be a permanent ban and is just filling the site with she-ite whilst he still can.

The roads are actually county council, the pavements are local council and we don't expect them to be gritted unless it's raining

Groove has absolutely no idea what you are on about Mr.Less....Which of Groove's recent posts have been stupid? By not getting political Groove meant he was'nt gonna go on about the local authority etc regarding the gritter situation after condemning the discussion of local politics on another thread. Groove thinks you are taking cheap shots Less and are quite pathetic.

None of my shots are cheap, In fact I can agree with part of the above quote and hope that groove will appreciate the fact that he would make a 5 year old appear intelligent when groove attempts a conversation:-

Yeah, great idea.

Since simply everyone agrees with every single word the gobby git says...in your head.

If that idea did ever come off, it'd probably be more successful than Kev the Rev and the holy rollers were at the last election.

Don't you go sitting by the phone.

You won't be approached to help with the campaign.

On second thoughts.

You could just blindly carry on spouting off, as you do now.

That could be very useful.

;)

Why have an agent Jen, not necessary, but I would certainly take that job on board if Rindi entered the fray:dancedog::dancedog:

Why, I actually heard the statement from a Labour councillors own mouth, when asked why, after speaking in the council chamber in favour of a motion put forward by the opposition, said he had no option as they were told how to vote

We haven't had much snow yet ... winter has been mild so far, even the geese are still around. But when it comes, and come it will, this is how we handle it:

City of Kingston, Ontario, Canada - Snow Removal on Streets and Sidewalks

Oh, and if there is an AccyWeb party, and if they win an election, I would like to be High Commisioner to Canada. All I would need is an igloo in Ottawa, and free beer;):D

How do we break this to you without causing offence?
When AccyWeb's freedom party gains control of Hyndburn, would you be the sort of Country we could align ourselves to?
Your policy for Human rights would have to be called into question, after all could we really align ourselves to a land with no torture, rape or murder of minorities, we now have made our bed and must stand by our present Councils support for those well trained and practiced in the above arts.

P.S. We are in principle 95% in favour of ignoring anyones wishes for a referendum about the E.U. (Please don't tell anyone this, it's just between you and me, any leak of this kind of information would be a vote killer, and we don't want the mugs , erm sorry I mean the electorate to know this).

How about this:

It's not actually torture, rape, and murder; but it must be nasty enough to get us some recognition.;)
