Anyone with Utilita Gas & Electric?

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone on here is with utilita and what they're like? Had a door to door salesman knock on tonight. Sounded good, just wondering if they are?

:eek:Don't switch because of such a door knock:eek:

Use a price comparison site to find out which supplier is best for you.

Which is best varies from one household to another depndant on usage of both fuels.

The most accurate way of using such sites is to have the annual figures of use in KWHs

According to their website they supply pay as you go energy. Not sure if you can use a comparison site for that.

don't know about their charges but from my work and dealing with loads and loads of different suppliers, they have worked out the best to deal with for me. Yes they do deal in pre pay but they don't need to change the meters, they hook up some equipment to the current meters and supply you with a separate box that you just need to plug in and when you top up at the shop by the time you get home box has been updated.

If you get low on credit an alarm sounds to remind you to top up but there is emergency credit available. If something goes wrong with the payment card the beauty of this firm is they can also communicate directly with the box until new card arrives. Do bear in mind there is a £6 charge for any lost cards but you can get a number off them if you phone to give to the shop so you can still top up and you don't have to wait for new cards to arrive.

Saying all that, def worth finding out their kwh charges compared to your current supplier.
