just to let everyone know a insurance company advertising on the web called Aston midshires insurance is a scam my son has car insurance with these people and i have found out he has been driving around since September with no insurance i have checked this out with the police and trading standards and the FSA and they all say they are a scam company so please if anyone has insurance or is paying insurance to these people (who are very believable) please contact the trading standards and your bank urgent it is a scam and they are now closed and gone without a trace. i have been onto all the trading standards people and they need to know if there is anyone else who has done this as you are not insured so be very careful don’t drive your car.

my son has got all the paperwork certificate of motor insurance and the lot is worthless

i am trying to get some details and course of action to see if i can recover any monies for him but so far no luck anyone else got this insurance please get in touch and anyone with any information about these to please get in touch he has spent at least £2000 with these people who say they can get cheap insurance for young drivers

I have googled and found two other forums where people are reporting their experience with this company as a scam.

Very sad that this has happened - hope the scammers get prosecuted.

I feel for your son, its not easy getting insurance for young drivers in today's market.

There is some good info on this forum, worth keeping an eye on to see what others are doing.

Thanks for that i just wanted to let others know that website is good for information i have reported this to all concerned and going to bank with my son tommorow to se what they can do fingures crossed

it shouldnt be hard to find where the money went and catch whoever owns the account where it eneded up but common sense isnt the laws strong point but good luck all the same
