my works used to be based at whinney hill aka park royal and dont why the road sweeper is there as park royal have there own and clean that road a few times a day

thought it was to good to believe for hyndburn council and that must be a new one the old park royal one was yellow then again my firm moved from up there just over two year ago and i aint been near the place since

Mez & I spotted one of those drain cleaning wagons today & it was working just inside the Hyndburn area, but we didn't have a camera so I don't suppose anyone will believe us.

The last time I saw one with the logo "Hyndburn Works" on the side was about 14 years ago in St James St. The nozzle which was used to suck up gunk from the drains was loose and flailing about wildly as the truck travelled up the road (not actually sweeping) and sprayed pedestrians with indescribable filth. :(

I believe you, I saw one close to J7, M65, ........But it had broken down and hordes of people were trying to rebuild it....OH, for a camera.....

You should always have a small pocket camera with you wherever you go, you never know when you might need it.

One day last January (or thereabouts) we went over to Halifax and on the way saw some wonderful icicles. All the way there I kept saying I wish I'd had a camera to photograph them as they would have made a brilliant photograph - got home and found I'd had a camera in my bag all the time!!
