Police in Dill Hall Lane
 

Does anyon know why there were so many police around Dill Hall Lane this morning around 11 ish. They were by Church Hall Garage.

It could be they were checking taxis, it's one of the places they use.
I saw about five police cars and as many taxis the other night about 7PM around there. It was mentioned in the local paper a few days later how many had faults and were pulled off the road.

It's time they pulled some of the dodgy taxis of the road and book the drivers who are using mobile phones whilst driving.

I passed at 9.55 a.m. It looked like the police had pulled someone into that little slip road that you can take going up to Dill Hall Garage off Henry Street.
Police van and Police car. Man with bald head talking to PO on pavement (think probably the driver). The police were searching his car. There were a couple of policemen further up the road, so may be they were pulling them in for spot checks ?

Not a taxi ... that's all folks.
