found a dog in the accrington area, if you have lost one please comment with details and ill let you know whether its the one. cheers

If you take it to your nearest vet they will be able to read its chip if it has one and you will be able to return it home without ringing the dog warden who will charge the owner money even though you found it :D

this is my exact thoughts mate, i did ring the warden but only to say that i had the dog, wouldnt let them take him, not everyone has the money to get them back from the kennels, the warden is supposedly goin to come and check if he has a chip in the morning, so hopefully he will be back at home where he belongs before long

When I recently found a Pug I took it to the vets abut the owners had not chipped then. Madness, hundreds of pounds for the dog but only £15 to chip it.

They probably got it on Gumtree in exchange for a pair of shoes, or because the previous owners wanted to re-do their garden and didn't want a puppy messing it up... (actual adds on Scumtree). The mind boggles...
