Gorgeous George is back

BBC News - George Galloway wins Bradford West by-election

Gorgeous George Galloway is back in Parliament after winning the Bradford West safe Labour seat by over 10,000 majority, seams he's blaming Traitor, Tony Blair for his win:eek:

'While George Galloway was storming Bradford, the Westminster circus was chasing ministers with pasties and Ed Miliband was munching a sausage roll.'

New Statesman - Labour's insurgency bubble bursts

Yes, a disaster for Labour, in this safe Labour seat.

Perhaps people are wising up.

hopefully more independants will start winning seats and show the crooks and backstabbers we have now that we wont take it any more

sadly though i think the hardened voters will get their way and thats why MPs continue to stab us in the back because they know the mugs will keep voting them in.

lets hope hyndburn breaks the mould and gets our backstabbing MP out on his ear before he sells us down the river any further

I hope you are not suggesting that this was a tactical Labour vote to give GG the seat to stop the Tories winning:confused:

This win for the RESPECT party only proves one thing. The people of this country are fed up with the stuff that the three main parties keep on feeding us.
It is something that they are going to have to get used to, because I am sure in the future it will happen more frequently.

Having said that, I wouldn't pee on GG if his bum was on fire....it would be a waste of good water.

Yes, if Labour can lose so spectacularly to 'Pussy George', people really do feel woefully unrepresented by the mainstream political parties.

The fact is it was a one issue election Margaret, anti war, and with so many Muslims in Bradford its not really any great shakes really, but I agree with you on Mr Galloway, neither would I :D

I'll bet the vast majority of his votes were from muslims. here's an excerpt from his 'Important message from George Galloway'. Proof that he is indeed a moron, as you say.

God KNOWS who is a Muslim. And he KNOWS who is not. Instinctively, so do you. Let me point out to all the Muslim brothers and sisters what I stand for:

I, George Galloway, do not drink alcohol and never have. Ask yourself if you believe the other candidate in this election can say that truthfully.

I, George Galloway, have fought for the Muslims at home and abroad, all my life. And paid a price for it. I believe the other candidate in this election cannot say so truthfully.

You can say what you like about G.Galloway, he does make politics interesting, and if something is interesting then people engage with it

I suppose it really depends on how you define 'interesting'...personally I would rather have a migraine than engage with anything GG says or does.

Georgie's an Internationalist.

Like us lot, here in Hyndburn.

We might now get twinned with Bradford West.

Or even form some sort of Internationalist alliance.

So as to keep India in check.

I dont agree with what he has to say, but how he puts his point over is interesting. The fact that we are debating his win on this thread shows we dont ignore him, and if it makes people engage more with politics and get out to vote then all to the good.

I never voted for The Monster Raving Looney Party, but found them interesting, as I do with Gorgeous George.

Apparently GG didn't know which seat he won.

The Respect Party leader’s shock victory actually came in Bradford, Yorkshire - but his Twitter feed on Saturday read: “I will try to live up to your expectations. Shattered but happy after the Blackburn triumph.

Bradford MP George Galloway embarrassed by 'Blackburn' error (From Lancashire Telegraph)

Re: Gorgeous George is back

Yes Davemac, we are talking about him, but for the wrong reasons. GG didn't even know which constituency he had won.......doesn't that tell you a lot. He played to the muslims fo the area and secured their votes....but in doing so he has probably alienated any other sections of the electorate........and in my opinion he has played into the hands of those muslims who want to dominate politics and supplant their own agenda.......a form of treachery.

I have an interest in politics.......but I won't be voting for any of the filth that represent the three main parties(none of them are interested in the electorate or what the electorate wants, and none of them reflect my core values). The whole political system needs a radical overhaul. There is very little difference in the polices of the three main political parties.......and voting for another party is 'wasting' your vote(as effectively as not voting at all) as the smaller parties will have no influence on major issues.

What we really need is a revolution.

Regarding Allahway , he most definitely will be raising tensions & giving the Muslims hope of furthering there agenda no doubt about that .

As for the 3 main parties .. they have there own agenda as well , its called " United States of Europe"

The elites want social unrest to bring in there draconian laws ... & what better way to get it with Allahway stoking the fires

He is indeed playing a very dangerous game. GG has only one aim in this sorry story....and that is to look after number 1. He thinks he has played the muslims like a fiddle, but he may yet dance to their tune and it won't be so grand then.

According to Respect there are 4 Labour councillors in Bradford-All Muslim-who are due to announce that they are defecting to the Respect Party.Other Muslim Labour councillors in Huddersfield and Halifax are said to be on the verge of doing the same. Its obvious that Muslims have used Labour to get a foot in the door and now will join and vote for a Muslim agenda within the broadly Muslim based Respect Party .

BBC News - What happened to Labour's Asian votes?

Interesting to see if they spread there wings to Lancashire.

I agree with you to a point, but we are supposed to live in a democracy, yet less than half of the population vote. This means that less than 50% of the population decide what effects 100%. If an idiot like G.G. gets people interested enough to go out and vote then politics and politicians will truly reflect the will of the people.

Had enough voters turned out to vote we would not have a coalition government!

I would like to bet if you got a twenty pound note at the polling station then we would have far more people voting, lets get interested in politics thats all I am saying.

Margaret Pilkington 04-04-2012 11:59

Re: Gorgeous George is back

Well, I am one of those who didn't vote(I did go to the polling station, and I spoiled my paper because I could not, in all conscience, vote for any of the shower of doo-doo who were up for election)
I am of the opinion that if voting changed anything they would have stopped us doing it years ago.
The chance to vote is just to let us think we have some kind of say in what happens to the country(a referendum on the EU has been promised by political parties in the past - it hasn't happened)......and it is fine in principle, but in reality, the politicians can promise us anything to get elected, but they do what they damn well want once they are incumbent.

That is why there is apathy and disenchantment, no-one trusts what politicians say.........I think that offering money at the polling booth would be the wrong thing to do.

It maybe that they 'married' in a muslim ceremony, which has no standing in English law, unless there is a registrar present in accordance with English law.

This man holds himself up to the Muslim community of Bradford West as a paragon of morals, yet yesterday in one of the newspapers he said he had had many sexual conquests all over the world - this despite being married.
