I know of the person involved and have relatives that live nearby, was actually at their house when the ambulance arrived, a sorry affair all round.

Re: Police at Spire Farm
Hopefully it's not Rob Foy, I know some folks on here were pretty harsh with him when he posted & they carried it over in to the real world. It wouldn't be pleasant to think his treatment on here had something to do with it. (that's if it is him)

That aint good.
My Dad once found somebody hanging up there a few years back, it really affected him. |

Thanks for that WM 221, but still someone is going to have to go through the heartache & upset of losing a loved one & especially under the inferred circumstances, a sad, senseless waste.

Excuse my ignorance but where is Spire Farm?

Re: Police at Spire Farm
Spire Farm is at the top of Sandy Lane Accrington accessed from the roundabout by St.Annes R.C. Primary Schoolmof from the A56 By pass going from McDonalds at Rising Bridge. You can see the spore from the By-Pass.

Re: Police at Spire Farm
Always used to think that a person who committed suicide was selfish. Then a few years ago a close relative committed suicide, and made me realise that the majority of people, if not all must be ill to do such a tragic thing (as he was). Such a shame when someone cannot see a solution to their problems other then end it. Hope the family of this person can soon come to terms with the death, as besides grief they will probably be feeling guilt. To the person who has died RIP.
