We've got a cat. We got her as a kitten and the only place she has ever poo-ed is in her litter tray, apart from when she accidetally missed by not realising her bum was hanging over the edge! One thing I can say is that cat poo stinks.

I have an English Bull Terrier crossed with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, she's really spoiled and a bit of a mummys girl. There are some photos on the site of some of our pets, they may be in the archives of the photo section.:)

Our cat's favourite hobby is snoozing, closely followed by napping and having a short kip. Occasionally she has a brief flurry of activity when she races around like a mad thing, plays "tig" with whoever happens to be nearby, flings herself onto any available lap for a brief cuddle and then settles down for another snooze.

We have a Jack Russell terrier who is quite mad.....
he watches TV and when there are other dogs on the telly he runs and jumps at the TV and barks like crazy.
He knows all the adverts with dogs in them and if he is asleep and he hears their music he immediately wakens up and charges at the screen.......I have had to take all my ornaments off the top of the TV because of his antics.
I have two cats...... one is a Maine Coon cat and the other is a moggy..... a bit like felix. I have never had any problems with either of them pooing in the house.
I am also nursing a stray moggie in my garage..... he had been savaged by a dog and has a couple of infected wounds from the dog bites..... he is getting better but won't come in the house because of the Jack Russell...... which is mad really because the dog thinks he is a cat..... told you he was MAD!

Re: Pets....

I have a 14 year old German Shepherd called "Merky." (Mercury, Named after the great Freddie Mercury) For the first 12 years of his life, he was so protective of his family, I would have to cross the road with him on his "Walkies" because if any one came within 6 ft of me or one of the family, he would consider them a threat and had the urge to attack!

With old age, he has mellowed and will now allow strangers to approach and make a fuss of him (if they dare!) He is long haired and his grandfather was a crufts winner, but although the optimum height for German Shepherds is reached at 18 months, Merky was too tall to show at the age of 12 months!!

Because of his age and his weak bowels, my back door is open 24 hours a day whether I am at home or not.........and no one has yet been brave enough to see if Merky is soft enough to allow them to walk off with my P.C, I get the feeling that if any one tries........?? He is not a pet, he is family!!!! :gooddog:
