Don't know Margaret, just put the number in off a web search into companies house which said no. not recognised, put his name in the search & no result, I think he used to be a builder years ago, so whether its to do with that, or another person with the same name I don't know. This idiot is in his 60's.

what absolute scum.

Exactly.

Someone could have been killed, through this premeditated, malicious act.

I hope it does make the papers.

Thanks Mick
I specifically told some one to keep out of this and they must not name names. not only for the reason you point out which is blatently obvious but also not to give the criminal any publicity and an element of they know that we all know psychology (spelt wrong but no spell check) !

That's not a crime, so do I.

I owned a house my son lived in for several years.
I paid tax on the income - many small landlords conveniently claim ignorance of the rules.

They won't be getting away with it for much longer.

Fine, Margaret, I pay my tax too. But to assume that the persons mentioned in this thread do not do so just because of what else they may be guilty of is going a bit far I think.

Just to make it clear, I have no axe to grind, I don't know or know anything of anyone involved in this affair.
