The times they are a changing

Fancy an Andy Murray washed down with a few Britney Spears? How celebrity culture is reinventing rhyming sland | Mail Online

Its surprising how times have changed, it used to be a Ruby Murray on the way home from the pub now its an Andy Murray, that's of course after a few Britney Spears, (beers) and I wonder how many are still in their Barack Obama at this time of the morning. Seems Cockney Rhyming Slang is being updated by today's generation, to me it will always be a Ruby on the way home from the Battle Cruiser:D

My dad was saying this morning that he watched that programme about getting older last night, the one with Lesley Joseph in it, he said they where dancing around to music such as 'rock around the clock' which is what my dad used to dance to, nothing like the old war songs they used to sing in nursing homes, my dad then realised that he is getting old and his 'generation' are the ones now going into nursing/care homes, i think it kinda shocked him and he realised he's getting on a bit

I also watched the program, and can understand his thoughts.
As John Simpson said at the begining they should give us a pill and then we can decide which way to end up, in a box or a nursing home.

Getting older is something that happens to us all if we are lucky........and age is just a number on the back of your knickers:D...I'm only 16 :D.
I am in my thirties in my head.(no fly comments here).

Know just what you mean Margaret -I'm still a size 10 top, size 12 bottom - (aged 21!!) -always had a larger derriére -though as a rule it was appreciated!;)

That makes him a couple of months older than me ... I have to wait until December for my 67th. But, as Groucho Marx so brilliantly put it: "You are only as old as the woman you feel":alright:
