Instead of wasting good money on extending the opening hours of Accy library, why don't they kick out the present occupents of the old Church library and reopen that as a place of literary adventure and intellectual intrigue?

Church library used to be quite well-stocked when I worked there way back in the '60's.Maybe the people of Church have lost the art of reading.

With the growth of e-readers, Kindles and the like Libraries will probably become extinct within 10 to 20 years. Or more likely evolve into Internet access points with 10 computers and a rack of large print books for the OAPs.

Must say, with the growth of the Internet, paper or CD/DVD media is just looking out-dated.

You could possibly say that about lots of things these days, people can now do all their shopping from their own arm chair, no need to tramp round shops all day, just another season why high street shopping is in demise
