White Sack - Gone again
 

O M G !!!!

This is ridiculous. Forth time in a row we have had our white recycling sack stolen. I AM Not happy. Is this happening to anybody else? Especially in the peel area???

They'll nick anything round here, happened to me a few times. Just nip to Town Hall and ask for another, maybe tell them it's a regular thang?

We had a spate of the blue uns nicked last year. Last time went Town Hall, they said they stopped keeping em n sent us up Willows Lane.:(

That's just it. Working away at long hours I can't get to them to get another white sack. Last few times; I have managed to get away from work because it wasn't busy and/or shorter hours :(

Try ringing em n telling em of yer problem, it may work yeh never know.

It happened to me with my recycle bins, so often when living in Preston, that I gave up in the end and just took stuff to the recycle place myself. If it wasn't stolen it was idiots knocking it over or hiding it or filling it with their own rubbish.

Let me know if you've a problem getting one. The Council needs a better system when leaving these sacks.

I spent 45 minutes drawing big massive numbers on the white sack and it still went. :(

No i once asked when our blue un vanished, But thats no use anyway if yer at work or not in.

Aye mine have been going missing in the past few weeks, today I got lucky and they were still there.

There is no point saying anything at the Town Hall as they dont seem bothered, when I told the woman behind the counter about mine keep going her reply were that I can always come into the Town Hall and get another and then told me the opening times??!!

I didnt say anything at the time as I were so shocked that were the reply I got.

When I now go in I always ask for 3 of each colour, when they ask why I tell em its because I dont want to come in here every 2 weeks for new ones.

Its gonna get worse now that winter is coming as any bit of wind will take them half a mile up the street if you dont take em in your house straight away.

the blue sack was placed between the door handle. Whoever took it perhaps they didn't want the blue sack :confused:

Yeah mine were today.

They usually chuck them back in the front garden so when I pick them up there is usually about 26 slugs all over it!
