Re: Police appeal following indecent exposure in Clayton
I once experienced a flasher and want to say how frightening it is.
Even though I was a mature woman I recall that the first reaction I had was the expectation of rape. After the event, I thought of all the things I could have said and done, but when you are in a situation where you feel that you are about to be raped, shock prevents retaliation. Some men regard it as a trivial offence and joke about it. To those men I say - how would you feel if you considered that you were about to be raped? |
Re: Police appeal following indecent exposure in Clayton
The thing that really bugs me about this sorta thing, is the pervs get no kind of sentence at all usually, seems the law also does not regard this as too serious to me.:(

Unfortunately the scumbag minority are in positions of power over the decent majority and can block any revelation of facts.

Such power would not be placed in the hands of the people that are so sad they have to go flashing in an attempt to relieve their inadequacies, their hands are no doubt full of the cause of their problems. Get back to the Savile thread with your wanderings and leave this thread to the catching of the sicko mentioned in the first post. |
Re: Police appeal following indecent exposure in Clayton
at least they are doing something about it.About 2 years ago there was a man going around the park in haslingden exposing himself to school girls. To their credit most of them laughed and took pictures of him with their phones.Despite photo evidence and multiple reports to the police they didnt put a police presence in the park at school finishing time as he was able to continue until he assumedly got bored or fed up of been laughed at by teenage girls.
i hope this muppet in clayton meets someone who either kicks him hard between the legs or cuts it off |
Re: Police appeal following indecent exposure in Clayton
Some years ago a young man exposed himself to my mother........she seemed completely unfazed by it, and told him to 'put it away - I've seen more meat on a nasty fork'........it only hit home when she reported it to the police - then she was upset and outraged that a young man could do such a thing.

Hope they're not banking on the photo in the Observer to help catch him - he looks like a cross between a yeti and the honey monster...!!!

Re: Police appeal following indecent exposure in Clayton
I seem to recall an article that stated Accy having the best CCTV for a town... guess it never stretched as far as Clayton.
I don't get flashers...weird. Perhaps a relative of the horse fella |

The photo in the papers was from private CCTV which pointed onto the canal, but only to cover access to the storage area. |
