The happy thread

What's happened to you today that's good? Anything?

A car-park attendant really helped me out today, I was an idiot and lost my car keys and he let me sit in their break-time room whilst I made telephone calls, made me some tea, brought me a heater and generally was nice and helpful. Kind of made me think sometimes people really are just genuinely nice.

Anybody else?

Not I, hon. But I do agree with you that given a chance folks, well most of them, are genuinely nice. Be careful, thinking this way is the first step to becoming an anarchist;) But I did do a favor for someone today. Made me feel good. There is always a reward for being nice.:D

Like Eric, I think that most people have good hearts and will help out to someone in need.

I went to a party and took loads of pictures with my digi camera which turned out spectacularly clear. So I went out and bought a few frames, printed them out on photo paper, and presented them to the individuals in the pictures.

Result - some incredibly happy people thinking it cost me an arm and a leg, when in truth it cost me very little. :)

What a thoughtful thing to do.
I hope you don't have to wait until you get to heaven for your reward.:D

I'm happy to announce that on my way to town, the policeman in his van busy texting didn't cause an accident on the pelican crossing that he crossed without actually watching the road.

Well I'm shocked...

not one of your best efforts, what would you come up with if it had been an ordinary zebra crossing?

Oh please, don't tell us.

:)
I'm a bit cynical. It was the dog's fault I was locked out of the car lol, I might make her into a rug. I (stupidly) put my keys and purse into the (open)car boot whilst I leant down to pick my shopping up, as I stood back up I saw Kya's head appear on the parcel shelf, shouted at her to get down but she'd put her paws up as well-and shut goes the boot. And the car's locked-with my keys in it!
I tipped the guy who helped me out-really was grateful!
I'm going to an open mic night tonight, which I am looking forward to, but it's bitter sweet, my friend died a couple of weeks ago, which is what the event is in aid of :(
I'm happy I managed to get some sleep last night, though. :)

No...it hasn't made you look like a total idiot.
It just makes you human and fallible.
Every single one of us is that......human...and fallible.
