I know it's not in Accrington but i thought some may want to know that another 'drinking house' has been sold and is going to become an asian girls private school, sad to see yet another 'pub/club' go

Mind yeh, years ago the Antley Inn at church was flogged off fer a similar thing, i can remember a board being placed yon saying the name of the school, but don't think it ever opened?:confused:

i remember that too, it was knocked down in the end wasn't it? i remember some asian people buying that pub near tesco in Blackburn and turning it into a funeral place....then low and behold it was bought for quite a considerable amount of money by those people who own the new enterprise place, maybe a money making thing hey

Got a photo somewhere but I cannot find it, years ago when the boys were little I used to think we were nearly home when we got to Intack lights

good news is that after a pub in church was sold off and converted into a school for asian girls only it was demolished not long after and new houses built where it stood...

so fingers crossed eh ;)

They had to leave it standing for 15 years to let the smell of ale vacate the premises:D
