the attack in the hairdressers was indeed on ormerod street, i live on ormerod and went past on my way home from work as it was happening. there was a seperate incident on blackburn road where an asian fella was stopped by armed police but i dont know any more than that

The number of incidents involving and indeed the quick response from armed police in the area these days.

Perhaps we HAVE been too soft for too long?

There are far too many times violence is used and the only safe way for our police to react is by having bigger guns?

Or

Perhaps it's time the courts actually gave out sentences that keep criminals of any race off the streets?

Then the police can go back to sleeping the night shift away in good old Panda cars.
