Liverpool Yellow Duck Marine sinks

Just watching the news and, apparently, a tourist boat has sunk in the Albert Dock. I was watching these boats last year on a day out in Liverpool and thought they looked a bit iffy. Thankfully, there are no reports of fatalities. The Yellow Duck Marines work on land and water, and, to me look like they should stay on terra firma. The Queen and Prince Phillip sailed on one last year during the jubilee celebrations. Must be thinking they'd had a lucky escape!

Come on now frank, this thing was designed in the 40's & it's still going now, that's not to bad an engineering achievement. Anyways there'll be an enquiry as to what happened.

Personally I reckon it was one of the crew pulling the plug when they saw the DHSS officer walking along the dockside so they wouldn't be seen grafting while claiming Jobseekers & incapacity! :D

So before youse start, shut it! I'm a Scouser, I'm allowed to take the Pish! :s_aim1:

It's down to lack of investment, if we'd had WW3 when we were supposed to, these craft would be far safer than they are!

its probbably won a european culture award by now
