Land opposite ossy mills

Hi, does anyone know whats happening with the land across Union rd from Ossy mills, next door to the chinese.

Used to be used as staff car park, i think, now fencing is up and couple of people doing some work to the ground over the past couple of weeks

Anyone have any info?

I recall there used to be a petrol station there.
Maybe the underground fuel tanks were not dealt with properly when it closed down.

There was and before that a row of shops (maybe houses not sure exactly). My grandma used to have a dress shop on that terrace, they bought the row, knocked them down and built the petrol station.

It's going to be a sales centre for luxury mobile homes.

Ossy Mills is definitely worth a visit, especially if you've never been before. Plenty to look at with lots of unusual things for sale, it's not a bad way of spending an hour or two. There's a garden area out the back too.
