Our Max is doing his bit for nature, helping with the recycling. He had a good brushing and all his soft downy fur was placed in the bush in the yard. The local sparrows are going mad for a nice soft liner for their nests.

I used to put the combings from my persian cats and the Maine Coon cat on my washing line and the birds were always very appreciative.
I was not so appreciative when the 'bobbed' on my nice clean washing. That's gratitude for you! :)

A friend of mines hair from her Brazilian pussy would be put out, however the bush it seems wasn't large enough to be of interest to other birds!

if the birds dont want it she could use the hair to make a nice warm muff or would that be going back to square 1 ?
