This NHS site shows they are accepting patients.

I wonder if the practice nurse will get sacked now you have made public what she is doing. Grounds would be breakdown in management trust for publicly trying to undermine the decision of the management.

Looks like a good idea except its usually only those who want to moan fill these things in. My surgery is excellent and only have a good rating. I always get an appointment. Phoned at 10am Tuesday and got appointment 15.50 the same day no messing.

I doubt it. The practice manager is aware of it. It appears to be the decision of Oswald management rather than Myrtle House.
I understand the practice nurses aren't too pleased with the situation either. I hear that one of them has been sent to the Acorn centre and another has been relocated to the Blackburn practice. It's going to be a problem to get an apt with a nurse at Myrtle before long.

P.s. I have, as yet, had no reply to my letter of complaint!

I will be changing to a new doc hopefully - when you are old and infirm you worry whether any doc will take you on

I have a chest infection and phoned docs to make an appointment with Dr Dixon
Phoned at 8:15am got an appointment with Dixon at 10am
Asked him about his retirement.
He said he can't keep anything quiet and how did I know I told him about Accyweb
He said yes he was retiring but might be before Christmas
And could be in the next few months
