Just been fer a paper n had a sneck, its all taped off n a police van yon, so if yer taking towser fer a walk, avoid Mill Hill, cos yeh can't get through that way.;)Its a fair bet, the foul mouthed scum, that was on the bridge just before club, late yesterday afternoon know summat about this incident.

Where is the Straits?
I passed the Oswaldtwistle Theatre, that's what I think the building is, Friday at 5PM and there was a lot of foul smelling smoke belching up from a lane across the road from the theatre. There was a police car blocking the lane and as I turned to go up Broadfield I heard the sound of fire engine sirens.
Would that be the same incident?

Yes probably if you cross the road at civic and go down that small lane turn right and thats were it was

The Straits is were the Tesco is (was old Fire Station) just go down lane n yer yon.:)

I walked past the club yesterday and the front of it looked unchanged, I couldn't see any signs of a fire. The roof was still intact too. Somebody posted a video of it on Facebook and the flames were enormous, weird! I didnt see round the back though so it could have been a mess round there.
