This just underscores the fact that the politicians are in it to feather their own nests...to look after their own interests.
No politician comes out of politics poorer.
All of them, regardless of the flag they travel under, seem to have a sense of entitlement....they feel elevated above those who put them into the political arena.
It looks like it might be the same the whole world over....and if they think they can get away with it...then they will.

Yes...just been a long time coming. I won't start cheering just yet.
The remoaners will now redouble their efforts to think of a way to put a barrier in the way of leaving(though I cannot see how it would happen)

Everything is the fault of Brexit....none of the blame lands at the feet of the useless politicians who have done everything in their power to divert the democratic process.....and all because they are looking after their own ends...fulfilling their own agenda.
Our politicians have forgotten how to govern(or be part of a useful opposition).
They want to sit in that talking shop that is the Palace of Westminster and do nothing more than rubber stamp rules that come from Brussels.

The EU is falling apart. Italy and Greece are all but bankrupt.(they certainly cannot service their debt)
There is civil unrest in France and the yellow vests have not gone away....Macron has just applied a D notice to the reporting of the uprising. So the press are banned from reporting it.
Germany is on the brink of a recession.

The EU was a socio political experiment that turned into Frankensteins Monster.

As a trading organisation it was acceptable,( we'll sort of...there was still a lot of underhand stuff going on...skulduggery) but it had ideas above its station...a wannabe superstate.

It has sucked the life out of a number of countries(Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece, Ireland) and turned them into nothing more than vassal states...it has stolen their identities.

it proves yet again that BIG is not always better. local government re organisation closer to home proved that point. its gone from being a trading organisation monster to a super state in the making as many wont it to be even in this country.

This morning I just saw video from the G7 meeting in Paris.
It showed Boris and The Donald walking together down a grand staircase.
Here was my immediate comment:
"Where did Boris get that suit? And didn't they have one in his size?"

It wasn't a fashion parade.....and it just goes to show that he cares not one jot about what other people think of him.
You may say 'well to be smart you have to look smart'.....TM always looked smart, but that got us absolutely nowhere in respect of negotiations.
She was backwards and forwards like a fiddlers elbow, trying to beg for favours.
So looks are not what matters in the great scheme of things.....it is decisive actions...and they still need to happen, but Donald Tusk looked like a bulldog licking wazz off a thistle.....and Guy Verhofstad is swivel eyed at the thought that the UK won't stump up 39 billion.

So while Boris is not sartorially elegant....he is doing alright(and I never thought I would say that)

Nah, you should have seen him yesterday, it only fitted where it touched, he has become man mountain coming on in leaps and bounds, he'll have the E.U. leaders curtsey whenever he enters the room.
By the way, this isn't a Disney animation of the emperors clothes this is politics who cares how he looks he's the best hope to get the job done.
