Trooping Of The Colours 2016
Been watching it, no doubt about it for those of us that love a parade this has got to be one to see.
All those soldiers giving their best performances with pride, it was worth watching, and I'm sure the woman in the lime green outfit will agree, mind you she did have the best seat to watch it from. Queen's 90th birthday is marked at Trooping the Colour parade - BBC News |

Re: Trooping Of The Colours 2016
Because they don't do Gin and Dubonnet cocktails and her bus pass has expired.
No seriously, this is one of the traditions that is the envy of the world. I would love to have been down there with my camera. I would have been in my element. |

Re: Trooping Of The Colours 2016
i was never anywhere near good enough to be involved in any parades like the Trooping of the colours or similar but did a lot of drill for lesser events.
We were instructed that if a member of the parade falls or faints we must never break step or look down. It must be hard to walk on a mate who collapsed in front of you. |
