Christmas Wishes

My wish for you at Christmas....
Is one of peace and joy,
I wish for you the magic
Felt by every girl and boy.
I wish for you good company,
Warmth, good food to eat.
That life will let you tie a bow,
Not just make both ends meet.
I wish for you a happy home,
A haven from the storm,
I wish for you a cosy hearth,
And fuel to keep you warm.
I wish for you protection
Against all the ills of life,
I wish for you the love
Of a good partner, friend or wife.
