And it's Jones..Again!!

And yet again our currently selected MP continues to blame Corbyn on the sacrificial altar of Twitter….

Lets just analyse the loss at Copeland..

a) Selected Labour candidate was a vociferous Owen whatsisname supporter and is anti-Corbyn. The Tory candidate had proved herself on the local council (kinda like Ken Hargreaves did)
b) The war criminal Blair and his henchman Mandleson attacked their own party in the week before the election.
c) Most people are just fed up with the career politicians infesting the Labour party
d) The 'New Labour' cognoscenti got it wrong, yet again, they thought it was a shoe-in win and only sent their B team in..(i.e. Jones and ol’ sleepyhead)
e) Hey-ho..we lost and it’s Corbyn’s fault and it has nothing to do with the simple fact that ordinary people have the average Labour candidate sussed as an elitist (we know better than you 95%) pseudo-tory
f) The BBC think it’s Corbyn’s fault we lost..and of course they are totally unbiased (serious rolling of eyes here)

'New Labour' has been weighed, measured and found wanting...ain't those bitter, twisted and disloyal bottom feeding, trough swilling MP's fault though...it's poor leadership..go figure..

New Labour destroyed Socialism and are much too arrogant to smell the coffee, i have been a Labour voter all my life, but certainly not while these tosspots stab a elected leader (twice) in the back on a regular basis, I'm not the worlds biggest J.C. fan by a long chalk, ordinary working class Labour voters that i speak too, have "ALL" defected, and that aint J.C.s fault, they are sick to the back teeth of the"Blairite" gets in the Labour party.

Jones disagrees with that by the way.

Today his response to yet another dismal labour result in a local by election is another thinly disguised attack on his leader..'the rot has to stop and that takes courage and leadership'...

No Jones....What it takes is a united party, with mp's who listen to the voters instead of plying their own elitist view of 'we know better than you'. A party with mp's who understand democracy and abide by democratic decisions instead of behaving like children who threaten to take their ball home if they have to go in goal. A party with mp's who fight the opposition instead of slyly sticking knives in the backs of their own.

And first and foremost a party with mp's who believe in and act on the fundamentals of the party that has given them their power..

Well I guess I can dream :(

Obviously to me he thinks the electorate are too thick to read between the lines, he will maybe discover how wrong that assumption is come the next election is my honest opinion.

I pray your right Cashman.

I think there are a lot of disillusioned voters out there.
It doesn't help when your representative implies that his voters are too ill educated and incapable of learning/ knowing what the nuts and bolts of leaving the EU might be.
I personally find that both insulting and very arrogant.
So I certainly won't make that mistake again.

Of course he does. He has told us as much in the past.

He's only ever said that on AccyWeb, perhaps he considers the rest of the folk around here to be even thicker, therefore they will vote for him no matter what?

Re: And it's Jones..Again!!

On most job application forms there is a question 'are you related to anyone in the company?'...to check that nepotism doesn't preclude more worthy candidates, to stop a 'jobs for the boys' culture and to ensure that there is a wider pool of thought, idea and skillset.

Apparently this doesn't apply to the Hyndburn Labour Party. We already have the 'labour family' from Harwood/Rishton (who incidentally are about to spend a fortune of our money on their area to the detriment of other more deserving and urgent cases elsewhere in the borough)..and our council is now under the threat of another, this time from Milnshaw...all supported by Jones of course.

That's notwithstanding that when one family member leaves he/she is replaced by someone from their family/extended family.

I'm about to ring Francis Ford Coppola..I have a new idea for Godfather 4.

Tell me again that local councillors are altruistic and not in it for themselves, that there is no money in being a local politician..tell me again that local MP's are selected on merit or skill and not on how good they are at kissing local backsides

Guinness if we told you...you would not believe it.
Why? Well, it might have something to do with previous experience, or maybe the evidence of your own eyes or maybe the ability to critically appraise information gleaned from more than one source.
Something that our MP believes we are deficient at...thinking.

Just because someone speaks rubbish fluently does not mean we have to be the bin that swallows it.

Tony Blair is blind to the real story of the New Labour era

Our MP has his name as the writer...he has also posted on twitter that this is his 'piece'..far be it from me to analyse his tweets, his posts on here and his fumbling, bumbling readings of scripted musings in the commons (i.e. I'd like to ask the PM if he's ever been in the same room as Rupert Murdoch.)....but I'd hazard a guess that this has been prettied up by someone similar to the guy who thought he lived in 'xxx'

Anyhoo....this weeks standout tweet..

'Vital @UKLabour Party puts working class people on Mcr Gorton shortlist. Someone who is doing a real job, not a 'preferred' candidate.'

Hmmm....'preferred' as in related to standing councillors/MP's?

'doing a real job' as in opposing the majority and supporting an imaginary 95%

If I were you mate, I'd start looking for those directorships to supplement that exorbitant pension of yours that i'm already paying for.

P.S. next time you meet a minister, even if he is from Kurdistan..at least wear a tie and have a wash..after all, you are supposed to represent me!

The Author GRAHAM JONES? No link to the name to say he's our beloved GRAHAM JONES, it could be a different GRAHAM JONES, until we have proof it's 95% change hands GRAHAM JONES, perhaps we should give him the benefit of the doubt?

Nah, it must be our GRAHAM JONES, any other GRAHAM JONES, would distance himself from the GRAHAM JONES we know and loath.

Re: And it's Jones..Again!!

At the bottom of the New Statesman article it says that Graham Jones is the MP for Hyndburn...so it must be our Graham Jones.

Re: And it's Jones..Again!!

Might he have learned a little bit of something do you think...or is this just 'lip service' purely for an article published by the New Statesman?
I am not sure. He still paints us as ill educated peasants who do not know our bum from a hole in the ground, though he doesn't actually say that, there is the strong implication there(well that is my feeling after reading this article).

'If the left is to learn any lesson from Brexit, it must be that we cannot speak a political language different to those we seek to represent.'(New Statesman)

Thats complete bullshine, what it should say "cannot come to a decision without listening to those who actually vote for us, but then thats too simple and 95% of us are stupid anyway."
