Accrington Web Arcade

Just looking at the arcade games and wondered if people still play them. I know they were very popular a few years ago. There was a lot of competition between members trying to beat each other.

Is it time we reset the scores to zero so people can start again? Many of the members with the high scores no longer post on the forum so it would give new people the chance to be champions.

I still play when time allows -which isn't so often these days, but yes I think that would be a good idea Neil.

Yep still play them but don't mind having scores re-set.

Re: Accrington Web Arcade

Could I suggest that the scores are re-set annually?

This would keep some competition going in there which is needed to sustain interest.

If it becomes popular again Roy might even find us some new games.

Perhaps just before they are reset we could present a few awards for the person that has the most high scores or even, 'The Time Waster Of The Year Award' to the person that spends the longest time in there.

Any other ideas for awards?

I play on occasion when the tellys crap & I want to kill some time. May I suggest a hall of fame? If the scores are to be wiped annually a past record of top scores & scorers could give folk the impetus to try harder than previous winners. :)

(On top of that, I'm not likely to ever be so lucky again & be a winner so some faded glory to hark back on would be good! :D)

Nice idea but not sure the best way to do that. I could post leader boards like this

I've reset the arcade scores and saved the leaders in a new thread in the forum games section as suggested

I dont play them much at all. I have way too many pc games that take my time already :D but the resetting of scores is a good idea and also might draw my attention to them ;)
