What's going on????
Last Friday afternoon, I was wandering through town on my way to somewhere else and I passed by the Market Hall. Amazingly there was a bunch of people stood outside with a collection of owls and other assorted birds of prey - live ones! They were showing them off and for a donation of a pound they would let you hold one on your arm. I was tempted but I was in a hurry and so I passed on. This afternoon, it also being Friday, I was wandering along Broadway when I came across a group of people holding three Llamas! What is going on? Should I be getting a bit worried about going into town next week? Or is Mrs Acrylic-Bob doctoring my Gin?

The Market Hall is to be the Elephant House.

I go to see my family - plenty of wildlife there.
Various people's husbands and other assorted partners spring to mind |
Re: What's going on????
They are rather cute (the llamas), but I feel bad for wondering what sort of rugs their pelts would make...:D

Re: What's going on????
i was of the assumption that the "Monkey House" was where the two rival faction of hyndburn council held their bun-fights and tea-parties... the town hall.
