Dates in Life
Today is 115 years since my grandmother was born and I got wondering if any of the 'Webbers' know of anyone whos big dates in their life was as unusual as hers. She was born April 2nd (1902) Married April 3rd (1926) Dies April 4th (1974) . I should think it is quite rare.

Re: Dates in Life
Some would view it as pure coincidence but the conspiracy theorists would have a field day.

Re: Dates in Life
Ofcourse it is a coincidence but a very rare one I should think. I have certainly never heard of anyone else .

Re: Dates in Life
William Shakespeare was born and died on 23rd April

Re: Dates in Life
I have heard of a few people who have died on their birthdays but not done things on 3 successive dates.

Re: Dates in Life
That really is a rare coincidence, Rowlf. Nothing like that, but the date of the 23rd has been fairly prevalent for me. Born on the 23rd, married on the 23rd, my first child was married on the 23rd, my first grandchild was born on the 23rd, my youngest child was married on the 23rd...so I enter number 23 on every lottery ticket I buy. However, I'm still waiting....

Dave, I reckon that ship will probably sink before it gets into port, and my twenty thruppence will go down with it.

Re: Dates in Life
You have had a lot of 23s Dotti. In my family it is 13 which is the lucky number. Cropped up time and time again. I was born on the 13th and I have a gold 13 on a chain around my neck. I remember when I bought it the lady asked if I was sure I wanted it as most folk would not touch it with a barge pole. My mum was a baker so perhaps it is something to do with a bakers dozen.
