We did lose service about 3 years ago. It was a line problem and once reported it was fixed pretty swiftly.
Now we have a large business community at the back of our house...whether that had any bearing on the speed of resolution is anyone's guess...but I think it had some effect.

One of the reasons why we have stayed with Virgin Media is, that it is very reliable, weather conditions do not affect it's performance. Also the price we pay is good.

It's alright if you've got cable in your area.

sorry your having trouble with bt & no service for virgin cashy
I myself had terrible service when with bt they charge for engineers to come out, anything goes wrong with their equipment you get charged again, when you leave them you get a bill from open reach for service cut-off, have been with virgin for 3 years now engineer call-outs free equipment replaced free of charge, would I go back to bt not on your life

BT will restrict your internet and flat out deny doing so even on so called unlimited usage. They will limit your speed to 1mb if they think you are using too much at peak times which also causes problems if you have tehir TV streaming service as well. The internet becomes useless especially if you have other users of it in the home such as kids xbox , your phone ,tablet etc. They then put it back to full speed at 11pm

they also really dont like it when people with some knowledge about how things work questions their lie
