My wish for you this Christmas
 

My wish for you at Christmas,
Is that you all can be,
sitting round a table....
With friends and family.
With warm clothes on your back,
Hot food for you to eat.
A drink or two... of your choice
Would make it all complete.
But now just take a moment,
To think of those without,
To think of those with no one
Tho think of those with nowt.
Take another moment....
A time to reminisce.
For those who can't be with you,
The people that you miss.
They might be somewhere,working,
Might be in some foreign land,
They simply might be lost to us
I know you'll understand.
Lastly take moment
For those no longer here
Remember them and raise your glass
Merry Christmas, Happy new Year.

Don't want to burst your bubble but it's probably going to be a hard year politically for obvious reasons.

You need not bother with your prognostications.
What constitutes a 'good year'(it might surprise you to know) does not rely on the political climate for a lot of us. Politics does not stop us wishing our friends a Happy New Year.

KestrelX we do not need your glumness in what is,a thread of seasonal greetings.

It may very well be a difficult year ahead until we get things on course for the future that we voted for, but having our family and friends round us at this time is something to celebrate..

In post 19 I said he was a very sad person Cashy....so we agree on that one.
Maybe we are fortunate to have good people in our lives....and that makes OUR perspective different to his short sighted, narrow view of life.
