I have had some sad news from Dotti 34(although I know her as Dorothy) this morning.
Dotti lost her husband, her soulmate and best friend this morning.

Keith had been diagnosed with lung cancer more than a year ago.
He had some chemotherapy but that was soon abandoned.( he thought they were trying to kill him off)

For quite a while he was what the medics call 'stable'.
However recently, he has been in hospital while they tried to get a very nasty infection under control.

Yesterday, it was Keith and Dorothy's 62nd wedding anniversary.
They had a bedside party, with the best whisky, songs, music and jokes.
All the family were there....to make sure it was a good 'do'.
This was just how Keith wanted it.
Once the party was over it was just the two of them...holding hands.
He slipped away without fuss.

I am sure that the Accyweb family will want to offer their condolences...so I am posting this with Dorothy's approval.

Rest in Peace Keith.

Thank you, Margaret, for posting this for me and for your kind words throughout Keith's latest and final battle. They have meant a lot. I am also posting a blog as the final one in the story of Keith's journey since being diagnosed with cancer.

Sorry for your loss, if there's a good way to go it sounds like that's exactly what you gave your husband, he sounds a very brave man

Dotti, so sorry to hear of your sad loss, sounds like you had a wonderful anniversary party. I know from first hand experience how great a help Margaret will have been for you.
