Hardly Ma, last time home trying to walk down Lord street in Southport the cafes, tea rooms & pavements were crammed full with Hunnerds of the owd ducks, young & spritely as I is, I managed to dodge the most of 'em! :D ;)

Oh they are visible alright.....but only when there is money to be taken from them...it is just that when there is an opinion to be sought....we'll, we don't count....or it certainly fells that way.

An opinion to be sought? Don't be daft you'll wait for ever if you wait to be asked, do what the rest of us do, give your opinion forcefully whether it's wanted or not.

Then they can ignore you with a clear conscience!

the media actually know how the majority of us feel. thats why we seem invisable as our views do not sit right with the liberal lefty easily upset and our hearts go out brigade.

With attitudes like this from a BBC executive I just can’t understand why people wouldn’t want to pay their licence tax.

I think those who had free licences and are now expected to pay are doing so because they are the age when you paid for what you had used...and also many of them fear the bailiffs knocking at their door if they don't pay.
The BBC can pay 100m quid to pay agents to seek out the non payers, but cannot afford to give the elderly their TV licence.
They can also spend 124 million quid on diversity(they already meet diversity quotas) and programs that reflect diversity.

No surprises that they pay someone a fat fee to parrot these loony left view and woke ideals.
It is high time the organisation was defunded...made to stand in the marketplace of programs, just to see how it fared amongst other competitors.

But then the BBC would be under the control of it's advertisers it would no longer be able to give a fair and unbiased view of the world.

There is talk of making every household pay a tax to fund the BBC....with the more well off household paying more and thenpoorer household paying less.
Now who will decide what a well off household is, is anyone's guess..... I trulynhope this does not come to pass as it will just make the BBC more spendthrift than it already is.

Was that talk in a loonie bin, otherwise known as the local a Labour Party Office?
Somehow can’t imagine even this Government being that stupid although, given the last six months, maybe I can!

I can't tell you where it was dreampt up...but it sounds an easy way out.
It is time for the Beeb to be cast adrift to either make their programs more marketable, therefore more profitable...or to sink without trace.
It would be no great loss.

There was a well attended anti-mask, BLM and other nonsense demonstration at Trafalgar Square which the BBC completely ignored while headlining about some black actor no one's ever heard of and even an anti-corona laws march in Berlin is reported but woe betide they report on anything outside their twisted and disgusting narrative that occurs here - the very country they are supposed to be based in

How can a so called "national broadcaster" have such sheer contempt for it's populace ?
...actually there was a mention in London local news - not mentioning the rally but just a traffic report about disruption in the area.
