Got a flyer through the door today

Barnfield Construction have starting going through local consultation for a new Aldi store to be built on Hyndburn Road - just opposite Hagg Lodge (lake next to asda)

Aldi have deemed it better to build a new store rather than upgrade the current one. the new one will be bigger and have more items.

the plan seems good - they're going to upgrade hyndburn road too.

Heard about this last year, it's not great news for me - the present one is situated within a decent walking distance from home even with bags of shopping, could still walk to the new site but getting back loaded up would put my lights out i think.
