Just walking home taking my time because heat like this really slows you down when, suddenly I was overtaken by a mother and child.
She was about 8 perhaps 9, (the child not the mother) and they passed holding hands, I thought 'mum treasure this moment soon your daughter will consider herself too old to hold hands, it just won't be COOL'!

Ah, memories of days gone bye.

so true. kids encouraged to grow up before their time from everywhere they look. wont be long before she,ll have her tippy tappy inserted in her hand for lifetime.
