Why is it above your head Taddy?
I am not sure which bits of my post you do not understand… or are ‘over your head’. And if you do not understand what I have posted, then how can you agree with it? We do not stop learning when the school gates clang behind us. |

Re: I miss the permissive society
Taddy…just think about it for a moment……half(or roughly half) of the population are women.
If you remove all terms that relate to women, from speech, from literature etc….then you are not being inclusive. Being inclusive means that all members in society have equality….are recognised for their unique attributes…the things that make them…well, them. Describing women as people with ovaries…rather than women(for fear of upsetting those biological women who self identify as men….but are STILL female) is erasing women from speech….or saying people who menstruate, rather than calling them women…again to save the tender feelings of transgender men(who are biologically female) is insulting to the vast majority of women who are not transgender. Now Taddy that may seem a verbose answer….but it explains how women….who identify as women are being cancelled for a very small minority……making us EXCLUDED, |

What I’m finding hard to come to grips with is (and I’ll prove I’m making this up as I go along, by using Graham Jones’s favourite percentage). 97% of the population are happy to be whichever sex they are, this includes homosexuals and lesbians, they feel no need to use a different toilet to that of their own sex. It’s an awkward and tiny minority that go out of their way to draw attention to themselves by demanding that the rest of us should cow-tow to whatever trendy non-sexual sexuality they feel should be given priority over ‘normals’ seating (or standing) position in whichever toilet they use. I just wish the people that have sympathy for these bog standard whiners (P.C. Brigade?) would get a life of their own then maybe they could tell the nuisance 3% to shut up and look for a way to fit in with the rest of us. |
