Extremely icy conditions underfoot
I have just gone flying only a few yards from my front door, the first fall this year. I thought that the rain last night had melted the ice, which it had, but has now frozen like a smooth sheet of ice. A bloke going past in a car stopped to help me up and said he had just done the same at the bottom of the street. So if you have to go out please be very careful.

Re: Extremely icy conditions underfoot
I was out and about yesterday and it was treacherous underfoot.
I saw one young woman in Blackburn doing a fine bit of windmilling…it worked she did regain her balance. I have not fallen yet, and I am hoping not to. Who wants to be in the hospital with a fractured hip right now…no-one with any sense?! |

Re: Extremely icy conditions underfoot
Stay off the ice Cashy…you do not need to be going up to RBH….spending hours on a trolley in a corridor.
