Re: Where have the blogs gone

Still no blogs and no ability to post to a blog even though the blog category appears on the forum page…when you choose the option you can see the blog list but nothing loads.

Sorry Roy….not nit picking. I suppose it takes time to repopulate the new server.

More Joe, I posted this comment on my iPad…sometimes it second guesses words and puts what it thinks you mean. I know what I typed so I did not check it.
So the answer to your question is a solid NO….and I am exercising a LOT of patience with everything these days.
So if anyone knows where I can buy a lorry load, please send me a PM with the details because I need more.

Sorry M,
Believe me, I fully understand the joys of Spellchecker and Autocorrect.
I refer to them as Spellchuck and Autocorrupt.
The output is sometimes funny though?

Yes you are right….frequently my iPad thinks it can read my mind….really?
It would need to live a loooong time to do that.

No Taddy he doesn’t need to go to the bottom of the class…it is the iPad that needs to do that.

Re: Where have the blogs gone

Still no access to the actual blogs, but I can see a list of the blogs.
I know it is probably a monumental task to repopulate a new server and I would not have a clue as to how to go about this…but I am finding it difficult to think of a reason to keep on coming to the forum.
Loathe as I am to give it the flick….I am getting pretty close to that point.

Blogs? I used to wear them when I got my first job at Redac Brickyard in the village they were made of wood with iron horse shoes nailed on the soles, brilliant footwear.

Are you sure that you aren’t talking about CLOGS Taddy?
I am talking about blogs….these are online journals…and mine were (they tell me) a good read.

Re: Where have the blogs gone

Margaret, I also find it a disappointment when I come on the forum these days.. I normally start my day with a good cup of coffee and a look in at the site. I used to look forward to reading people’s opinions and joining in with the conversations, but mostly nowadays football takes preference over every other subject. Unless a person is interested in the round ball there doesn’t seem to be much else to read about, nothing else being discussed.

While I appreciate the importance this game is to many people, and am happy they have found an outlet for sharing their views, why aren’t more subjects being debated in the way they used to be? When a new thread is started it seems to be over and done with in less time than it took Shane Long to kick the opening goal in a Southampton versus Watford game, which just happens to be the fastest Premier League goal in history (7.69 seconds). (I thought if I mentioned a soccer fact then more members would read this post).

Seriously though, there seems to be little interest shown in new threads when members do bother to start these. Where is everybody? Let’s get more debating going.
